Welcome...
Sasara.com joyfully invites you to have a taste of nostalgic Japan through a very special green tea grown and processed organically and lovingly by Mr. Jiro Suzuki and his family in a small town of Iwata, Shizuoka Prefecture, one of the most renowned areas for tea cultivation in Japan.
Here are some of the highlights:
- Suzuki's green tea has been grown without any agricultural chemicals for over 20 years using an ingenious/ancient farming method and skillful cultivation techniques for nurturing friendly microbes in the soil that provide vital life force for the tea plants.
- Suzuki's organic tea farm has been certified by the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries in accordance with the JAS LAW (Japanese Agricultural Standard of Organic Agricultural Product).
- Suzuki's tea is naturally rich in vitamin C and other antioxidants and low in caffeine and tannin (the main ingredient of bitterness).
- It has an unusually rich aroma and refreshing aftertaste with a hint of pleasant bitterness, which, unlike the acridness of commercial green tea grown with synthetic fertilizers for taste enhancement, feels gentler to your sensitive digestive tract.
- It has subtle yet profoundly soothing, invigorating qualities that cannot be fully explained by modern science but are appreciated by those who can feel and taste the "difference."
